hello everyone.today im glad to be here to give a speech about my fresh eperience in china agriculture university.

first i must say the campus life is really different from what i have eperienced in high school.for instance,i used to lean upon my dormitory teacher to wake me up on time.but now i have to set several alarm clocks to make myself could hear them in the morning otherwise i would miss my class.and then even worse there would be nobody remind me

ecept my teacher!so the differences are everywhere and i could easily find them.the change of life is great and its wonderful:i have more time of my own and the rights to decide how i live.

my campus activities are rich and colorful.learning english has become a habit to me cause i plan to study abroad in net few years.playing guzheng is my favorite activity.i have kept on practising it since i was a little girl and i wish to win more competitions in my campus life.

our university has the first level equipments and the most eperienced teachers, also has the best students(laugh).i consider it to be a honor that ive got a chance to study here and i sincerely hope that we could live wonderful lives in our campus!

the undergraduate, who is on his way to a job interview, is stunned after hearing a ridiculous condition: the position is only for the man born in the year of dog. more ironically, a dog is eager to try. conspicuously, that is a horrible depiction concerning the discrimination in job market. over the past years, all kinds of discriminations(ϊdiscriminationһ) have (has) been condemned or made illegal, but one insidious form continue to thrive: some harsh conditions some employers imposed when recruit new,(ӳɷֲ壬ϊsome harsh conditions are imposed on the employers when a company recruit new) ranging from height to household registration. so, what cause(ϊcauses) these problems? firstly, thetremendous number of graduates- still mounting each year- make organizations powerless to screen out right candidates. (仰˵ǿ) for which(ϊthis) reason, numerous bizarre approaches have come out to find the right person. moreover, the current state of affairs may have been encouraged by lack of severe penalty and punishment to those arrogant organizations who(ϊwhich) shrink the obligation of selecting eligible staff. a good case in point is one of my roommates, with excellent performance in the job interview, failed to obtain the occupation(仰ɸϊwho performs excellently in the job interview, but fails to obtain the occupationҫߵдӧfailed֮ǰbut򵥾䣬ҽfailedϊfail) as a consequence of inadequate height.the clear message is that we should get moving to launch a war against those irresponsible companies. just as rejecting those duty-shrinking corporations, making complaint to administrator as long as we meet this situation.(仰ûνﶯʣadministratorʹò仰ɸϊto reject the duty-shrinking corporations, we should report the situation to the relevant authorities) more significantly, the authorities should charge with the obligation of laying down associate-effective discipline which seems appropriate in the light of current situation. by these methods, we will surely get through this tough period before long.

οģmy view on major ranking

in recent years, it is very popular to rank majors. major ranking lists based on a variety of criteria can be found on some educational websites or newspapers. these lists have great influence on students and many of them have come to rely on these lists to make their major-choice decisions.

to this phenomenon, peoples opinions vary from each other. some think that the results of the ranking are helpful for high school students to choose a major field of study, e.g., some lists tell people what majors will lead to decent jobs after graduation. some people, however, believe that many lists are actually useless. rankings are only about numbers and they do not tell you anything about the distinct nature of the major. besides, some majors may be listed as hot majors when students enter colleges, but will be unpopular when they graduate.

as far as im concerned, we should not over-stress major ranking. it should be remembered that rankings can play a big role in the selection of a major but it should not be the only criterion. many factors including your own perception of the major should matter in your final choice.

my father is not tall, body fat, has a black head of hair like crew cut. he has a long face, under the curved eyebrows with a pair of jiongjiongweishen eyes.

my father is a "lazy". every weekend, he always want to sleep in no mother do lunch. i cried several times also don't get up. nao arch, learn the alarm clock that don't work. to mother to shout: "you ah, even than son, also like a when dad?" finally, under the "torture" of my mother and i, and finally got up.

my father is very funny, humor. one day, i'm writing homework, dad after work, quietly came to my room to sing: "i'm back, i come back..." i listen to the roar with laughter. with joy, and father told a few jokes to me, than a fun, a than a funny.

this is my father, i like him very much.

the rise of intellectual property protection

intellectural property scarcely existed in the vocabularies of academic researchers and administrators even 15 years ago. now it is an ever-present part of discussions on research policies and directions. this new importance of intellectual property in academia reflects a changing view on ther relationships of research at universities to the surrounding society. until recently, research at universities has been relatively isolated from demands of economic utility, and education of graduate students has emphasized a career in academic research as the final goal.

now almost all research universities in the united states have technology licensing operations. the number of u.s. patents granted to american universities in a year rose from about 300 in 1980 to almost 20xx in 1995. the direct economic impact of technology licensing on the universities themselves has been relatively small. in contrast, the impact of university technology transfer on the local and national economies has been substantial, and leads to the concusion that the licensing act () is one of the most successful pieces of economic development in recent history. it has been estimated that more than 200000 jobs have been created in the united states in product development and manufacturing of products from university licenses, with the number increasing fairly rapidly as the licenses mature.

intellectual property terms have become vitally important. the company wants to be assured that it can use the results of the research-and that these results will not be available to their competitors. but most universities insist that transfer of research results is key to their identity and mission and will not agree to keep the project results secret. the key to resolving this dilemman is to grant patents: the university will publish the results, but will first agree to file patents that will protect the companys privilege in the commercial market place.
